Events and Initiatives

We at Fight the War Within Foundation pride ourselves on diversifying out events and initiatives, so that we can support as many people as possible who are struggling with mental illness and thoughts of suicide.

Wild Paddle

Join Fight the War Within and our friends at Backwater Expeditions for another Wild Paddle! There will be kayaks available, or you can bring your own. We will set off from the Tommy Long Boat Ramp in Rincon, GA at 8:00 AM, and spend around 4 hours exploring the beautiful waterways of historic Ebenezer Creek. Drinks and snacks will be provided.

Coffee & Camaraderie

Local veterans and families – join us at veteran-owned coffee shop Tosa Coffee Company in Richmond Hill, every 3rd Saturday, for snacks, camaraderie, and of course coffee! This event is sponsored by Fight the War Within as part of the #OneTeam family with our partners Team Savannah for Veterans, and Provisions for Patriots.

You aren’t alone. Come out, and reach out.

2nd Annual Warriors Ball

Join us for our 2nd Annual Warriors Ball at historic Savannah Station! All ticket sales will directly benefit our mission to raise awareness of suicide and help those struggling with their internal wars.

Want to be a sponsor? Table sponsorships are available! Each table seats 10 guests and sponsors can decorate the table with their organization’s materials.

Want to Honor a Veteran or First Responder who lost their battle? Sponsor a seat at the Fallen Warrior Memorial Table.

We are also looking for donations for our Raffle at the event!

For more information send us an email:

There are only 300 tickets available – make sure you get yours!! Last year we sold out in THREE WEEKS – don’t miss out on this year’s event!

Intervene Challenge

Fight the War Within is proud to present the Intervene Challenge founded by LTC. Lou Koon and Armed Forces Mission. This three-hour seminar is designed to teach you what to look for and how to help those who are struggling.

What you learn in this seminar will “turn the tide on suicide” through learning life-saving skills to help guide you through talking to someone struggling with an internal war.

Next Intervene Challenge:

1st Annual Race to Fight the War Within

Thank you to everyone who helped make our 1st Annual Race to Fight the War Within a huge success! We raised over $1,000 for Bryan County tornado relief, and over $5,500 in sponsorships towards our mission to end suicide!
